Responsible Gaming Policy
Independent 18+ responsible-gaming guidance for limits, warning signs, financial safety and support in India.
Last editorial review: August 25, 2026Our position
Yono Games Now is an independent information website. We do not operate real-money games, process deposits or withdrawals, sell gaming accounts, or provide customer support for third-party apps. The directory does not accept listing or ranking commissions, and it is not affiliated with the SBI YONO app or State Bank of India.
18+ and entertainment only
All gaming-related content on this site is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Gaming outcomes are uncertain. No game, bonus or strategy should be treated as income, an investment or a way to recover debt. If a state, product or operator imposes a higher age limit, the higher requirement applies.
India legal status
The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 received presidential assent on 22 August 2025. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026 came into force on 1 May 2026. Government material describes online money games as prohibited whether based on chance, skill or both, and also prohibits their advertisement, promotion, facilitation and related fund transfers.
This is a plain-language editorial summary, not legal advice. Product classification and enforcement can depend on current official records and the exact mechanics. Read the dated legal tracker before relying on an old search result or operator claim.
Set limits before starting
Decide the maximum time and money before opening a game. Treat any limit as a stop point, not a target. Never borrow, use bill money, share an OTP or UPI PIN, or chase a loss.
- Use a separate, affordable entertainment budget
- Set a session timer and take scheduled breaks
- Do not increase a limit after losing
- Keep bank, wallet and app notifications visible
- Use cool-off, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools where available
Warning signs that mean stop
Stop paid play and seek support when gaming begins to affect essential spending, sleep, work, study, relationships or emotional wellbeing.
- Missing bills or essential spending
- Increasing stakes or time after losses
- Hiding activity or borrowing money
- Repeated failed attempts to stop
- Stress, anger or low mood linked to play
Help and urgent reporting
For mental-health support in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare lists Tele-MANAS as a 24-hour service on 14416 or 1800-89-14416. For suspected online financial fraud, report promptly through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal or helpline 1930. These are government services; Yono Games Now does not operate them.
